From the Desk of James W. Goll and Mark Roye

This past week, I was a patient at the Atlanta Immune Recovery Center for a three-day consultation. Not all of my test results are back yet, but some of them that I have received were very encouraging. I found I am not diabetic, which is a relief. I do continue to have hypoglycemia however, which I have had for over twenty years. But they were impressed with my ability to manage it and stated I was one of their most educated and informed patients that they have ever had! If anyone wishes to help me with the expenses of these medical tests (as none of this is covered by my medical insurance) we are reactivating my Health Recovery Fund. Over the next week, I am ministering in Belo Horizonte and Brasilia, Brazil at a number of meetings. I will send you photos next week. Please keep me in your prayers!

Due to a lack of funding and response, we are discontinuing our monthly live Prayer Storm Webinars at this time. Perhaps in the future, when we have regained our financial footing, we will be able to restart these unique broadcasts. Everything in its own timing! However, discontinuing the webinars does not mean we are backing off from our mandate for Prayer Storm. We are continuing our weekly thrust through e-mail and website presence and continue to reach into 75 nations.

Mark and Suzie Roye are quite busy ministering with Blood ‘n Fire - San Antonio with their summer outreaches. They are bringing us an update report for this monthly Compassion Acts communiqué including a pictorial overview. We want to get behind their Share Your Sole project as is our tradition to do each summer.

Compassion Acts – July Update

poor and needy, we are lending ourselves to His Kingdom purposes (Prov. 19:17)   God tells us how we are to respond to the poor.  “If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother.  Rather be open-handed and freely lend him whatever he needs.” (Deuteronomy 15:7-8 NIV). WE are to be a people that care and give to the poor in our communities. 

This coming August 18th, we will host one of our favorite events of the year, our 12th Annual Share Your Sole event.  My wife Susie saw the need years ago of children in our community who needed new shoes for the new school year.   So, each year since, we have organized and promoted this event, and have provided new shoes for over 300 children each year.  We pray for God’s provision, that through providing a new pair of shoes, we are able to demonstrate God’s love to the children.  If you would like to provide money or even buy a pair of shoes for one child or more, you can do so by going to our website at www.bnfsa.com .  If you do choose to purchase shoes yourself, please mail them to our address, Blood 'n Fire, 21519 Tenore,  San Antonio, Texas 78259 by August 15th.  You can buy whatever size you want to for either a girl or a boy.  All we ask is that you buy an athletic shoe that is suitable to wear to school.  We hope you will pray with us as we seek God’s provision to bless inner city children in need.

The Harvest is Ripe

This week in our global Prayer Storm efforts, we will pray the words of Jesus as found in Matthew 9:35-38. Jesus said to pray to the Lord of the harvest! So that is what we are going to do in a unified manner in “the hour that changes the world.”

Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

Please take this and adapt this theme to your city and nation. Watch my short video on this theme, listen to the founding message of this ministry by my late wife, Michal Ann Goll on “Compassion Acts”, and then engage! Let’s call forth Holy Spirit anointed laborers to be released for such a time as this. Indeed, the harvest is ripe!
